School Closure Info 4/7/20

4/7/2020

Dear West Valley Parents,

Today, at a 2:00 pm press conference, Governor Bullock announced a two week continuance of the “stay at home” order put in place in March. The new directive will close schools through Friday, April 24. We will continue to provide online schooling for our students and provide paper packets to those who need them. He also asked that we wear a cloth mask when venturing out and to only go out when necessary. The Governor encourages outside activities, just remember to abide by social distancing guidelines.

We understand how difficult this has been for our West Valley families and want you to know that we are here to help in any way we can. Our teachers, administrators and staff will continue to provide a quality online education for our students. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM during normal school days.

Athletic Fees: For those of you who paid for your child to participate in cross country, Mr. Nickerson will be contacting you in regards to reimbursement. He will have several options, depending on your method of payment and will contact you later this week, or early next week.

Remain positive during this trying time and be thankful for the extra time you get to spend with your kids! We miss them and hope we will see their smiling faces before the summer break.

“The struggle you're in today, is developing the strength you need for tomorrow”

Take care and be well!
