Christmas break is coming! Next Friday, December 20th, is an early release- students are dismissed at 1pm. Please note that Friday the 20th is NOT a late start. School will start at the regular time, 8:15 (4-8) and 8:20 (K-3). No school from December 23 to January 1st and school will resume January 2nd.
Tomorrow is the Holiday Band Concert on December 10th at 7:00 pm in the West Valley Big Gym!

5th Grade Girls Basketball Coaches Needed: The season runs from January 2 to Mid March. The 5th grade teams have practice and/or games 2 to 3 days a week, so this is a half time coaching position. This weekend, West Valley is hosting a FIRST Lego League scrimmage with 14 area teams in attendance. When: Saturday, December 7, 9:30 - 2:30 @ WVS.
At this event, we need several presentation judges to listen to students' research projects, evaluate their work with a prepared rubric, and give praise with feedback about their presentation. We are looking for parents, grandparents, or community members who want to support team robotics, engineering, and public speaking here at West Valley School. Thanksgiving break is (almost) here! No school Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We hope our West Valley community has a fantastic break! 🦃
Our PTO is an essential part of our school community, but we need your help to keep it up and running! Active leadership roles, such as President and Vice President are vital to ensure the success of the PTO. This is a great opportunity to get involved with the school and help make decisions that benefit our students.
With limited funds, we’re committed to doing what we can, but your involvement is crucial to maintain and grow the PTO’s impact.
