Feb. 28th West Valley will have an area SRO (school resource office) visiting with 8th graders about internet safety and things they may encounter online at the high school level (this may include topics such as cyberbullying, sexting, apps & social media platforms to be aware of). The 8th graders will have instruction that is related to the MT standards for Social Emotional Learning Competencies of evaluating external influences, developing skills in analyzing information, recognizing unsafe situations and using strategies for removing oneself from those situations. If you choose not to have your child participate, please email our middle school counselor: cthurman@westvalleyschool.com.

Cross Country registration closes this Friday! Please register on the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus through the West Valley School website. Runners must have a physical dated July 1, 2022 or later. The cost is $25 per student, all grades are invited to participate! Practice begins March 20th after school. The TechWarriors Club sent three teams to Montana State University this past weekend to compete in a robotics and engineering competition. We are proud to have all teams performing in the top 25% of Montana FIRST Lego League Challenge. Each of the 26 TechWarrior members should be proud of their achievement, the coaches sure are!
