West Valley K-4 students participated in the Big Sky Fit Kids tracking challenge, which encourages daily physical activity and eating 5 fruit/veggie servings. Classes that successfully completed the challenge were entered into a drawing and Ms. Kowalka’s class was selected for a $500 grant! West Valley 7th grade classes got to discover probability while smashing eggs on their heads. They were practicing experimental probability to determine the number of raw vs. boiled eggs. Such a fun way to learn in a hands-on way! We had to draw names since there were so many volunteers....who knew!
